Contract Talent Sourcer

Patreon is the best place for creators to build exclusive content and community for their fans. We enable creators (podcasters, writers, musicians, illustrators, etc) to connect with their fans directly and make money from their creative work. Creators can sell one-off items from their own shops or offer recurring monthly memberships with exclusive access to their work.

There are over 250,000 active creators earning on Patreon and over 10 million members. Our goal has always been to help creators achieve financial freedom doing what they love - and we're leaders in the space, with over $3.5 billion earned by creators on our platform. We’re continuing to invest heavily in building the most talented team in the Creator Economy and are looking for a Technical Sourcer to support our mission.

This role is based in New York and open to those who are able to be in-office 2 days per week on a hybrid work model.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with recruiters and senior Product, Design, and Engineering leaders to drive sourcing strategy for high-impact roles

• Own market mapping for key searches — identifying target companies, talent pools, and competitive insights

• Surface data and market insights to inform calibration and drive hiring decisions

• Build and engage diverse pipelines of passive talent, primarily across Product and Design (with flexibility to support Engineering as needed)

• Own and deliver compelling, tailored outreach that brings Patreon’s story to life for senior-level candidates

• Act as an early-stage candidate point of contact, delivering a high-touch experience

• Proactively manage stakeholders through alignment, feedback loops, and regular market updates

Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of technical sourcing experience in high-growth startup environments, with exposure to Product and Design hiring

• Proven ability to stakeholder-manage senior leaders and operate in ambiguous, fast-moving environments

• Strong market mapping and talent research skills — able to surface insights and translate data into actionable recommendations

• Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools (Juicebox is a plus), communities, and technical/design forums

• Feedback-seeking, proactive communicator who values calibration and continuous improvement

• Passion for the creator economy
