About the Role:

The Contracts Consultant coordinates the execution of new and existing contracts between the company and its business partners (Government and non-Government contracts).

What You Will Do:

• Reviews and leads contract execution on products, premium and exposure limits; notifying government and commercial parties of contract terminations, renewals and re-instatements.
• Preparing bids, negotiating specifications and contractual provisions regarding compensation plans and business targets.
• Ensures execution of order to delivery standard work process to meet complex contractual requirements.
• Recommends solutions to ensure alignment to adhere to medium complexity contractual obligations.

• Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
• Negotiating: Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner.
• Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

Summary Pay Range:

$97,530.00 - $146,290.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
