This role provides direct support to the General Counsel and offers hands-on experience managing commercial agreements for a complex, multi-site organization serving the Chicago area and northwest Indiana.Responsibilities:Support General Counsel with vendor negotiations and contract review processesReview, draft, and negotiate Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and other commercial contractsServe as lead paralegal for commercial agreements and procurement contractsManage contract lifecycle from initial request through execution and renewal trackingMaintain organized contract database and implement process improvementsCoordinate with internal stakeholders across departments on contracting needsTrack key contract terms, deadlines, and renewal datesResearch contract-related issues and support dispute resolution effortsDevelop and maintain contract templates and playbooksAssist with general corporate matters and legal department projects as neededRequirements:Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate required10+ years of contracts paralegal experience, preferably in-house environmentProven experience supporting General Counsel with vendor negotiations and commercial contractsStrong expertise in MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and procurement agreementsDemonstrated contract lifecycle management skillsTrack record of implementing process improvements and efficiency initiativesExcellent organizational and project management abilitiesProficiency in contract management systems and Microsoft Office suiteStrong business acumen and ability to work cross-functionallyDetail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and work independentlyHealthcare or multi-location organization experience preferredInterested candidates should submit their resume for immediate confidential consideration.Interested in hearing more?
