Job Description

Control Panel Technician II

DIRECT HIRE

M-F, 6a-3:30p

Hourly Range: $23/hr - $29/hr

Demonstrates proficiency in all requirements of Control Panel Technician I
Machine enclosure and back panels per specified design
Create new phenolic tags and operate laser engraver
Create new wire labels and operate label printers
Create new and operate terminal block printers
Read and comprehend schematics and panel layouts
Terminate electrical wires in accordance to drawing specifications
Prepare finished product for proper shipping including fabrication of crates
Perform QA/QC panel checks on panel layout and assembly
Perform point to point resistance testing leveraging a multi-meter
Operate Steinhauer ModCenter based on the design s
Turning system on and off
Safely mount subpanels and enclosures in the machine
Loading of pre-configured design into Steinhauer
Replace tooling when needed
Safely debur panels and enclosures after machining
Know how to appropriately clean the machine
Know how to start and stop the machine
Understanding of Procedures specific to job role
Use tools in a safe and appropriate manner
Apply Lean concepts to your work and contribute continuous improvement ideas to reduce waste, rework, and cycle time
Key Metrics: Quality and On-Time Delivery, plus Value Creation through reduced rework and cycle time
