Build Advanced Electrical Controls Experience as a Controls Technician | $35$45/Hour
LINK Staffing is hiring a Controls Technician for a growing industrial manufacturing facility in Houston, TX. This full-time opportunity is ideal for an experienced industrial electrician, electrical panel builder, or maintenance technician who can read schematics, build control panels, and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems.

Responsibilities
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, control schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Build and wire electrical control panels according to schematics
- Install, connect, test, and troubleshoot electrical and control components
- Diagnose equipment problems involving 480V, 120V, and 24VDC systems
- Verify wiring, electrical connections, components, and control-panel functionality
- Assist with equipment installation, startup, repair, PLCs, VFDs, and motor drives
- Document wiring changes, completed repairs, and maintenance work
- Follow electrical safety and lockout/tagout procedures
Requirements
- Hands-on industrial electrical or controls experience
- Comfortable working with 480V, 120V, and 24VDC systems
- Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Experience building and wiring electrical control panels
- Electrical troubleshooting experience
- PLC, VFD, or motor-drive experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to follow electrical safety and lockout/tagout procedures
- Controls Technician certification is not required
