Prepare and review complex journal entries (depreciation, asset activity, accruals, intercompany transactions, allocations).
Manage monthly close, financial reporting, and supporting schedules.
Track and record home and lot sales, deposits, cost of sales, and work-in-process.
Oversee multi-entity bookkeeping and maintain accurate general ledgers.
Coordinate annual audits and serve as primary liaison with external CPA firms.
Maintain compliance documentation related to closings, title, and project records.
Partner with internal teams, lenders, title companies, and auditors.

Qualifications:

5–10+ years of accounting experience.
Construction and/or real estate development accounting experience required.
Multi-entity accounting experience preferred
Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting systems.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and hands-on.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
