Job DetailsResponsibilities:As our Permanent Controller, your duties will include but are not limited to:1. Manage all accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, cost accounting, and inventory accounting, and revenue recognition. 2. Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.3. Coordinating the preparation of the corporate annual report, the annual budget, and financial forecasts.4. Monitoring and confirming financial condition by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors.5. Managing and monitoring all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.Qualifications:To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:1. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or related qualification is highly desirable.2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, preferably within the construction or manufacturing industry. 3. Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is a must. 4. Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.8.
