Job Description
The Controller will be responsible for leading the accounting and payroll functions while supervising a team of professionals and administrative staff. Description Oversee financial planning, policies, and accounting operations
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes in accordance with GAAPPrepare internal financial reporting and analyze budget vs. actual variances
Maintain complete and accurate financial records
Develop and maintain standard and manufacturing cost structures and estimates
Manage banking and financial institution relationships
Supervise accounting and payroll teams, assigning priorities and ensuring timely completion of deliverables
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities
Ensure effective coordination across accounting, payroll, and finance functions ProfileBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field10+ years of progressive experience in financial management
Strong background in manufacturing cost accounting, including standard costing
Experience in business consolidations5+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools
Experience working within an ERP system (Epicor Kinetic strongly preferred)Strong communication skills with ability to present complex financial data clearly to leadership
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills
Ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization while managing multiple priorities
