Job Description

About the Role:

As an integral member of our corporate finance team at Nu Skin Enterprises, the Controller - Corporate Office is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and transparency of all financial activities within the corporate office. This role provides strategic oversight of corporate accounting operations, strengthens internal control frameworks, and delivers timely, high-quality financial reporting. Reporting directly to the VP, Corporate Controller, this position partners with various corporate business functions to ensure the proper accounting treatment of contracts and transactions, drive process excellence, and uphold the highest standards of financial governance across corporate entities.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and maintain all aspects of the accounting operations for the corporate entities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records
  • Oversee and drive the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, delivering timely and accurate financial results
  • Prepare and review corporate financial statements and reports for compliance with US GAAP
  • Maintain and confirm effective operation of internal controls over financial reporting to ensure effectiveness and SOX compliance
  • Lead, develop and mentor the corporate accounting and accounts payable teams, fostering accountability and continuous development
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to support audits of financial statements and internal controls
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, strengthen data quality, and elevate overall financial operations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure proper accounting treatment and documentation of corporate contracts and transactions

What you'll need:

  • 5-10 years of relevant and progressive accounting experience, including a minimum of 3 years leading and developing accounting teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA strongly preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX internal control requirements
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities with strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively across functions
  • Strong commitment to integrity and fiduciary responsibility

Bonus points for:

  • Experience with SAP ERP systems
  • Background in public accounting
  • Familiarity with Blackline or other close automation tools
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI or other financial reporting/BI tools
