This is an exciting job opportunity for you as an Application Specialist - Lighting Controls in Peachtree City, GA with Signify.
Cooper Lighting Solutions, a business unit of Signify, is the world leader in lighting.
In this role, you will support quotations, field services, and sales teams by planning, designing, and documenting complete wired and wireless lighting control system solutions for commercial and industrial applications. You will act as a technical subject matter expert, translating project requirements into accurate device layouts, bills of material, and submittal packages while ensuring compliance with electrical standards and project scope.
- Apply strong technical expertise in lighting control systems to design accurate, project-specific solutions
- Create detailed layouts, drawings, and documentation that support high-quality customer outcomes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with quotations, field services, sales, product management, and technical teams
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to clarify design intent and system functionality
- Demonstrate agility and a learning mindset to support specialty and custom application needs
More about you
While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:
- High School diploma with 5+ years of experience , or Associates Degree in lieu of relevant electrical or design experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical components, installations, and the ability to read electrical design drawings
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Bluebeam (or similar design and documentation software) preferred
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal customer interaction
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs
Salary: $61,057.50 - $81,410.00
Bonus Potential : 5%
