Responsibilities

Design, develop, and support PLC-based automation systemsProgram, troubleshoot, and optimize PLCs, HMIs, and industrial robotsDesign electrical control systems for automated manufacturing equipmentSupport commissioning and startup of new equipment and production linesConfigure and maintain variable frequency drives (VFDs)Troubleshoot electrical controls, communication networks, and automation hardwareDevelop control system architecture, documentation, and engineering standardsPartner with Maintenance and Manufacturing teams to resolve equipment issuesSupport capital equipment projects from concept through implementationImprove manufacturing efficiency, quality, and equipment reliabilityAssist with industrial automation integration and controls procurementEnsure compliance with engineering change management processes and safety standards

Qualifications

Associate's degree in Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field requiredBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar discipline preferred5+ years of controls engineering experience within an industrial manufacturing environmentStrong PLC programming experience with Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley (Rockwell)Experience programming HMIs and configuring industrial networkingAbility to troubleshoot PLC, HMI, DCS, and electrical control systemsExperience with AutoCAD Electrical or similar electrical design softwareAbility to read electrical schematics, P&IDs, and process flow diagramsStrong electrical troubleshooting and root cause analysis skillsExcellent communication and problem-solving abilitiesPreferred Experience
