Job Description

The City of Seaside is hiring Operations Personnel for its vibrant Convention Center - and we're looking for someone like you!
As a key member of our operations team, you'll take part in:
Setting up event layouts and floor plans
Performing janitorial and facility cleaning duties
️ Supporting A/V setup, lighting, and sound during events
️ Conducting minor repairs and routine maintenance
Interacting with the public and answering basic inquiries
This role is physically active and diverse-ideal for those who enjoy staying on the move and working behind the scenes to make events successful. From preparing sets and stages to operating audiovisual systems and ensuring safety standards, you'll play a critical role in keeping the Convention Center running smoothly.
Must be able to lift 40 lbs frequently and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as dictated by event schedules. A high school diploma or GED is required, and technical or maintenance experience is a plus.
