Job Description
Job Summary:
Set-up and operation of milling machines to produce stainless steel parts to specification.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Run several mills at one time as well as perform inspections to ensure material is within specification
- Read and understand a drawing and machine parts to specification
- Take measurement and make machine adjustments as required to hold tolerances
- Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience running a mill or machining background a plus
- Experience with calipers, micrometers, toolmakers microscope
- 2 years' experience in direct manufacturing
- Must be able to stand for up to 8 to 10 hours per day
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds
