Job Description

Position Summary

The Team

ConvergeCONSUMER is a product-driven business that combines differentiated consumer insights with robust prediction and optimization capabilities to help consumer-focused businesses improve decision-making and deliver personalized experiences to drive growth, consumer loyalty, and profitability. We operate with the speed and agility of a startup within the world's largest professional services firm.

We drive value for our clients by optimizing decisions and actions at a level of granularity only made possible with today's data and technology. ConvergeCONSUMER's suite of solutions helps consumer-facing businesses prosper in a world being re-shaped by convergence, where the lines between industries, competitors and collaborators, consumers and suppliers, and even human and artificial intelligence have blurred.

Position Summary

Are you a delivery-minded technologist who's just as comfortable in front of a client's executive team as you are leading a small team through a complex implementation? As a Senior Product Forward Deployed Engineer (pFDE) on ConvergeCONSUMER, you'll operate at the intersection of sales and delivery - building trust with senior client stakeholders, leading hands-on implementation teams, and feeding what you learn in the field back into our product roadmap.

Recruiting for this role ends on 11/29/2026.

Work you'll do

As the Senior Product Forward Deployed Engineer (pFDE), you will:

  • Own end-to-end delivery of ConvergeCONSUMER product implementations for enterprise clients, from kickoff through go-live
  • Lead discovery and scoping conversations with client stakeholders to define engagement scope, timeline, and success criteria
  • Lead small delivery teams - a mix of engineers and consultants - through the full lifecycle of a client implementation
  • Serve as the primary client-facing point of contact during delivery, managing scope, timeline, and risk, and escalating issues before they threaten outcomes
  • Partner with sales and account teams to identify opportunities to expand existing engagements or open new ones
  • Present product capabilities and live demos to VP- and C-suite client stakeholders
  • Translate client feedback and product gaps into structured input for product management teams, distinguishing one-off delivery needs from core product enhancements
  • Develop reusable delivery playbooks, demo assets, and implementation patterns that accelerate future engagements
  • Coach and unblock junior FDEs and consultants on the team, sharing delivery and client-management best practices

The successful candidate would possess these skills:

  • Comfortable operating autonomously across both sales-support and hands-on delivery work without close oversight
  • Strong executive presence, with the ability to build credibility quickly with senior client stakeholders
  • Natural people leader, comfortable guiding and unblocking a small team under deadline pressure
  • Skilled at translating between technical delivery realities and business or product priorities
  • Proactive communicator who surfaces risk and feedback early rather than waiting to be asked
  • Resourceful and outcomes-oriented, comfortable navigating ambiguous or evolving client environments
  • Genuine curiosity about the consumer industry and how our products create value for clients

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in client-facing technology consulting, professional services, or product delivery roles
  • Demonstrated experience leading small delivery teams and managing client engagements from scoping through go-live
  • Ability to travel 20-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

  • Experience delivering technology engagements within the consumer, retail, or transportation/hospitality sectors
  • Experience contributing to business development activities such as client pitches, proposals, or product demonstrations

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $134,500-$265,100.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
