TITLE: Converting Operator CPOSITION OBJECTIVE: To safely produce good, quality film using conversion equipment.QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)Previous work experience in a manufacturing setting preferredBasic understanding of machine operations and adjustmentsOral and written communication skillsUp to 50 lbs. lifting maximumP.C. KnowledgeMechanical aptitudePhysical activity required for this positionVisual activity required for this positionEnsure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Package and secure finished good products to procedurePerform other duties deemed necessary by Management.Actively participate in corrective actions for film non conformities, equipment abnormals, and material defects.Fully support and work toward achieving plant targets and goals.Familiar with quality defects for machine and hand film.Maintain High level of housekeepingComply with Plant Safety Regulations and Good Manufacturing practicesTroubleshoot all areas of packingTraining New PersonnelMust have regular, reliable attendance and willing to work outside the regular schedule as requiredWilling to handle job stress and interact with others in the workplace.
