Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Cook to join our longterm care team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys creating delicious, nutritious meals while contributing to the daily wellbeing and overall quality of life of older adults. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and serve meals that meet dietary guidelines, resident preferences, and safety standards • Ensure an enjoyable and respectful dining experience for all residents • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen work area • Follow menu plans and adapt recipes as needed • Collaborate with dietary staff, nursing, and other team members to support resident needs • Adhere to food handling, sanitation, and regulatory requirements

What We’re Looking For • Experience in food service or cooking (longterm care experience a plus), willing to train the right candidate • We also welcome Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) who are interested in cooking—eligible candidates may work in this role while maintaining their higher CNA wage • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team • Strong communication and organizational skills • Reliability, compassion, and a positive attitude • Flexibility in scheduling, including everyotherweekend day shifts • Interest in continuing education and advancing skills within culinary services or longterm care
