OverviewWe are seeking passionate and skilled Cooks to join our team at our Rock Springs, WY travel center. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and a strong understanding of kitchen operations within a restaurant or food industry setting. This role is essential in delivering high-quality meals while ensuring adherence to food safety standards and dietary requirements. Starting pay- $16 per hour.

Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Assist in menu planning, considering seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling practices.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
