Legacy House of Taylorsville is now hiring a Part-Time Cook / Server to join our dining services team at our senior living community in Taylorsville, UT. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who enjoys both preparing meals and providing warm, friendly service to residents in a welcoming, team-focused environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule
This is a part-time position with morning, mid-day, and evening shifts available, depending on community needs.
Cook / Server Responsibilities
In this dual-role position, you will:
- Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes and dietary requirements
- Serve meals to residents in a courteous, professional, and friendly manner
- Set up, stock, and break down kitchen and dining areas for meal service
- Ensure meals are served on time and at proper temperatures
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, serving, and dining areas
- Follow food safety, infection control, and resident confidentiality standards
- Assist with menu documentation and support team members as needed
Qualifications
- Food Handler's Permit (or ability to obtain one)
- Ability to follow recipes and accommodate special dietary needs
- Previous cooking or food service experience preferred, but not required
- Strong customer service skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Reliable, organized, and compassionate when working with seniors
