LINK Staffing is hiring a Cook- Food Service for a full-time kitchen role. This position is a good fit for someone with commercial kitchen or food service experience who can prepare meals, follow food safety standards, maintain a clean kitchen, and support daily meal service.

The Cook will help prepare quality meals, follow kitchen procedures, complete basic food service paperwork, and keep the work area safe and sanitary.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to daily food service needs

• Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and food preparation instructions

• Maintain food quality, proper quantity, and presentation standards

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures

• Monitor food storage areas, refrigeration temperatures, and cleaning requirements

• Clean kitchen equipment, prep areas, serving areas, and workstations

• Complete basic kitchen paperwork such as meal counts, temperature logs, and cleaning checklists

• Help with setup, service, cleanup, and other kitchen duties as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required

• At least 6 months of commercial kitchen, cafeteria, or food service experience preferred

• Food Service Certification preferred

• Able to complete required food service certification within the required timeline if needed

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs

• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting throughout the shift

• Able to work around hot kitchen equipment, cold storage areas, cleaning products, and kitchen noise

• Able to follow written and verbal instructions

• Basic computer skills preferred

• Dependable attendance and professional work habits
