Job Description

WALK-IN INTERVIEWS: Held weekdays from 9am - 4pm at the Denny's inside the travel center located at 225 E EVERGREEN ST, STRAFFORD, MO

LV Petroleum is excited to announce an opening for the position of Cook for the Denny's located within our travel center. Cooks are an integral part of our team, responsible for crafting delicious and satisfying meals that keep our customers coming back. If you have a passion for cooking, a keen attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want you on our team!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a diverse range of meals according to our menu and established recipes.
  • Ensure the proper handling and storage of food items to maintain food safety standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking stations throughout the shift.
  • Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service during busy periods.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as necessary.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with diners and ensuring their satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Cook in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure kitchen environment.
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A genuine passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals.
