Coordinator

Overview

A leading industrial services organization is seeking a detail-oriented Coordinator II to support parts and materials operations at an onsite distribution facility in the northern Mississippi area. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate order processing, responsive customer support, and timely delivery of materials to internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and brings strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, process, and document parts requests accurately and efficiently in accordance with established standards

• Process purchase orders from customers and internal teams

• Research parts inquiries, including replacement items, obsolete or inactive parts, foreign materials, and externally sourced components

• Prepare and process returned goods documentation, including credits and debits

• Provide accurate and timely service to internal and external customers to ensure correct parts are delivered per request

• Prepare and deliver customer quotes promptly and accurately

• Identify, investigate, and resolve order discrepancies

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email

• Manage a high volume of inbound calls while maintaining accuracy across all assigned tasks

• Support special projects and perform additional duties as needed

Required Skills

• Two or more years of customer service experience in a high-call-volume environment

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook in a professional setting

• Ability to read, interpret, and understand technical drawings and specifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

• Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem solving

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting technical or industrial products

• Familiarity with parts coordination, materials management, or supply chain operations

• Background in a technical service or manufacturing environment
