Job Description

The CORE Dismal Patrol #1 Security Roving Officer works in the Dismal, VA area. The officer is responsible for checking multiple gates, sites, and areas. The officer communicates to HMP (base of operations) by means of a CB radio and a shortwave (icom) radio. Communication skills are a must. Must be a team player, and function well within a team role. Must be able to be trusted to work long hours in a remote environment. Clean driving record is a plus. This is a good position that we don't hire for very often. Applicants can be competitive for this position, so it's important to get your application in ASAP if interested. Experience in security is a plus, but we don't require any experience for this role. We will put you through MSHA (mine safety training), security officer class, and even get you licensed within the state Department of Criminal Justice services as a private security officer!
