About the Role
We are looking for a strong individual contributor to manage the accounting execution for Cloud, Generative AI, and technology services, alongside broader general ledger responsibilities. The role partners closely with Technical Accounting and FP&A to ensure proper application of accounting guidance. This position also supports general ledger activities, including intercompany accounting, and plays a key role in audit support and the execution of internal controls.
What You Will Do
Review Cloud, Generative AI, and technology service contractsandapply established accounting policiesin accordance withUS GAAP and internal guidance
Leveragecontract AI capabilities to extract, summarize, and review cloud and technology servicescontracts, accelerating review cycles and reducing manual effort
Own Cloud-related balance sheet accountsincludeprepare and post related journal entries,performfluxanalysis,and account reconciliation;monitor Cloud spend, financial performance, and indicators that may require impairment consideration;maintainaccuracy, completeness, and timeliness throughout the process.
Prepare executive reporting packages for Cloudspend and performance, including analysis of trends, key drivers, and risks
Record intercompany transactions and perform related reconciliations, and resolve of-balance items
Manage the accounting forGoodwill andIntangible;Maintainamortization schedulesin alignment with established useful life policies; perform and document annual impairment assessments in accordance withASC 350;Perform and document annual impairment assessments
Support audit requests, by ensuring timelydelivery of supporting schedules and audit-readywork papers for internal and external auditors
Identifyand drive process improvements and accounting transformationinitiativestoimprovescalability, efficiency, and productivity.
WhatNeedToSucceed
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
4–6 years of experience in corporate accounting or public accounting
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
Proficiencyin ERPand accountingsystemsincludingSAPandBlackline
Advanced Excel skills
Strong attention to detail and ability towork in a fast-paced environment with competing prioritiesandmeet tight deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement approach
Collaborative great teammate who can also work independently with minimal supervision
PreferredQualifications
CPA license or active CPA candidate
Experience withintercompany transactions,consolidation,and multi-entity reporting
Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal control frameworks
Public accountingbackground(Big 4 or regional firm)

Expected Pay Range:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $74,500 -- $150,300 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. In California, the pay range for this position is $103,800 - $150,300At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
