Job Description

A reputable and growing, well-capitalized real estate investment organization is looking for a motivated Accounting Manager/Senior Accounting Manager for a highly visible corporate accounting role in Los Angeles.

This role sits at the center of the business overseeing complex accounting across a large, national real estate portfolio and working closely with the Controller, CAO, and CFO.

Hybrid-Remote: 3 days/wk on-site

Highlights include:

Ownership of month-end close and complex capital transactions
Exposure to acquisitions, refinances, resyndications, and dispositions
Leadership of both onshore and offshore accounting teams
Develop and implement new accounting processes and other strategic initiatives to improve financial performance.
Real influence over process improvement, systems and SOX compliance
Direct impact in a sophisticated real estate environment

Qualifications:

CPA required
6–9 years of strong technical or investment accounting experience
Deep GAAP knowledge + real estate industry experience
Comfortable operating in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
