Eden East is seeking a Corporate Business Office Manager to serve as the primary liaison between facility-level Business Office Managers (BOMs) and the Accounts Receivable (AR) department. This role ensures consistent training, compliance, and financial performance across assigned facilities. The ideal candidate will be an experienced BOM professional with regional experience in Pennsylvania who can lead, mentor, and support facility teams for operational success.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Equivalent work experience may be substituted. Must be capable of maintaining regularattendance.
Physical and Sensory Requirements:
- Sedentary work involves lifting no more than 10 pounds at a time and occasionally lifting or carrying articles like files and small office tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required occasionally and other sedentary criteria are met.
- Must have the ability to multi-task and handle interruptions; accordingly, communication is conducted in person, over the phone and electronically with staff and anyone else requested by management.
General Purpose:
- Under the direction of the AR Director serves as the primary line of communication between the facility and AR department as it is related to BOM specific duties, needs.
- Assist the facility directly when a BOM is on vacation and/ or no Business office Manager is in place until a new one is hired.
- Responsible for meeting the training, financial and business needs for facilities as assigned. Performs daily tasks to ensure compliance by BOM’s in their assigned roles. Works under the AR Director to assist in implementing and executing approved policies related to BOM’s
- Works closely with AR Director to assist in developing additional training and monitoring systems for all and individual BOM’s to assist in maintaining low days outstanding, low bad debt percentage and long-term success for the facility BOM’s.
- Participates in completing quarterly BOM Report Cards indicating strengths and areas of learning and improvement needed and reviewing with facility management and Chief Revenue Officer.
- Reviews, analyzes and interprets financial data to monitor progress toward established goals; identifies deterrents to success and works under the AR Director implement improvements necessary to enhance efficiency and results; facilitates effective problem resolution and development of business office goals and objectives.
Essential Job Requirements:
- Has a minimum of 3 years of BOM experience in Pennsylvania with prior Regional BOM Experience.
- Must know Pennsylvania Medicaid, how to apply, and how to follow up.
- Must know Managed Care and authorizations.
- Willing and able to travel as needed to facilities to train to our 6 PA homes.
- Demonstrates an ability to work with other personnel in a cooperative/supportive manner
- Acts as team leader and mentor as it relates to all business office functions and staffing
- Contributes daily to the success of Eden facilities through being a positive leader for the Business Office facility BOM.
- Maintain open and frequent communication with the Senior Corporate Business Office Manager, Chief Revenue Officer, and other Executive leadership when requested.
Daily Tasks:
- Monitor all billing and collection efforts for all Private related aging.
- Communicate and escalate all at risk accounts to the Facility Regional Operations Officer, the Facility Administrator, and Chief Revenue Officer when discovered.
- Alert Facility Regional Operations Officer, Chief Revenue Officer, and Legal when there is no current action by BOM on specific accounts with growing balances.
- Handle Write-offs adhering to Eden Adjustment Procedures as needed.
- Ensure that all Medicaid applications are submitted timely by BOM follow up is done weekly on all Medicaid pending cases including logs updated weekly.
- Assist BOM in monitoring and alerting Administrator and legal for potential Guardians needed, POA not responding issue etc.
- Ensure that all Medicaid residents are billable if under Medicaid Census and PCC is updated accurately when Pending are approved. Notify AR Specialist to bill.
- Oversee all Appeals and work with BOMS to ensure medicaid cases are successfully approved.
- Run monthly collection calls to go over full Patient Liability and Pvt Collections including confirming BOM is noting in PCC collections their efforts, and sending out completed AR Review updates to Regional Ops, Administrator, Chief Revenue Officer, and anyone else determined. These calls may be held more frequently to go over pendings and liability collection steps (Rep Payee, ACH, amount in PCC) as needed.
- Work with Families on problem cases that need to be escalated to the corporate level.
- Create in PCC Collection Letters to be used and send Administrator/ BOM warning letters to serve all residents who refuse to pay balance over 90 days past due.
- Additional duties as assigned.
