How you'll add value:
Working under the supervision of the Head of Legal:
Personally negotiate, draft, review and advise on key company agreements, including without limitation customer, vendor and partner contracts and NDAs.
Work with the company’s Deal Desk to improve company’s contracting processes, select a contract management systems and create automation in the sales contract process.
Contribute to legal team’s handling of issues relating to:
Data privacy and security
Legal consideration of products
Litigation and disputes
Internal investigations
Ethics and compliance
HR/Employment law
M&A diligence and integration
Assist Head of Legal with corporate governance, financing and equity issues.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues throughout the company and with outside counsel.
Research, anticipate, and guard the company against emerging legal risks
Be a trusted advisor to the leadership team on legal matters critical to the growth of the business
Provide pragmatic advise and recommendations
Understand R365’s industry, operations, products, and sales model to help mitigate risks and find creative and cost-effective solutions to legal issues.
Maintain knowledge of the organization’s operations and legal documents.
Selects when AI adds value, double‑checks its outputs, and can clearly describe their AI workflow to others.
What you'll need to be successful in this role:
The ideal candidate will have about 1 – 3 years of corporate legal experience with a law firm or in-house legal department.
Juris Doctor Degree from ABA Accredited University and Bachelors Degree Required.
Licensed to practice law in one of U.S. States or District of Columbia.
Experience negotiating, drafting, reviewing and advising on contracts.
Possess outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the proven ability to work collaboratively.
Be proficient in AI tools and comfortable utilizing AI to maximum efficiency within the small legal team.
Be pragmatic and have the right risk tolerance for working at a high-growth business
Be flexible and tenacious in solving complex legal and business challenges;
Have strong research and organizational skills, including an eye for detail, a creative mind, and the ability to shift seamlessly from task to task;
Be able to work independently on a project basis, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines; and
Be intellectually curious and motivated to learn about a wide range of topics, including general corporate matters, employment issues, vendor and customer relationships, and regulatory risk management.
Have a bias toward action in situations where decisions need to be made with incomplete information

- This position has a salary range of $120,000 - $140,000.
- The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location.
