Job Description

Corporate Finance Intern

What you will be doing:

To provide an enriching experience, the Corporate Finance Intern will support various functions by serving rotations within the Corporate Finance departments. The intern will contribute to month-end processes, fiscal year-end efforts as well as special projects in areas such as Accounting and Revenue, Financial Planning and Analysis and Operations, Internal Audit, Tax and Financial Systems reporting. This could include financial modelling, analytics, reconciliation and project management support. This internship will offer exposure to a wide range of Corporate Finance components; specific responsibilities will be defined based on intern's skillset and interests as aligned to needs during the internship program.

  • Collaborate with Corporate Finance teams to drive efficiencies and insights

Required Qualifications

Work Experience:

Years of Applicable Experience- 0 or more years

Education:

High School Diploma or GED (Required)

Preferred Qualifications

Skills:

  • General business/financial acumen

  • Analytical and numerical skills

  • Microsoft Excel competency

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience:

  • Analysis of financial data

  • Creating financial reports

  • Budgeting and forecasting

Education:

  • Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Business or related field

Working Conditions: Air conditioned office space

Travel Requirements: No travel required

Physical Demands: Sedentary: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves remaining stationary most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if movement is required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Premier's compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier's internal salary range for this role is $52,000 - $78,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.
