Job Description

As a Corporate Legal Counsel, you will be part of the global Legal team, providing day-to-day legal support to designated business units and corporate functions.

In this position, you will provide legal counseling regarding corporate and commercial matters and other tasks typically entrusted to in-house counsel in similar roles. You will work in close collaboration with senior legal leadership and cross-functional business teams.

In addition, you may support selected corporate initiatives, including Business Development, Sustainability, and other cross-company projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Commercial contract drafting and negotiation, including with strategic customers, resellers, and distributors.

Supporting the development and implementation of compliance mechanisms and processes in the areas of anti-corruption, antitrust, data security, export control, privacy compliance, and other regulatory requirements.

Supporting internal training efforts regarding corporate compliance policies.

Reviewing and negotiating business development agreements, including alliances, cooperation agreements, joint development agreements, investments, and M&A-related agreements (in collaboration with senior legal leadership).

Assisting on additional legal matters and contributing to the overall legal function.

Working with and coordinating local outside counsel, as needed.

Serving as a regular interface with legal and business teams across regions.

Handling other responsibilities customarily assigned to in-house corporate counsel.

Essential Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Must possess a BA from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice in Israel; MBA is an advantage.
  • 6+ years of progressively complex experience in compliance, commercial, and transactional law.
  • Previous experience supporting compliance projects and matters is a strong advantage.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working as in-house counsel for a US or other publicly traded company.
  • Must be an English native level speaker.
  • Excellent business counseling, drafting, and negotiating skills.
  • Highly motivated with good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Professional maturity and the ability to collaborate effectively to resolve issues.
  • Good analytical and reasoning skills, with the ability to communicate practical and innovative legal solutions.
  • Experience working in a complex and high-pressured international business environment.
  • Strong PC and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change.
