Job Description

SWBC is seeking a talented individual who will develop, execute, and manage traditional and digital marketing campaigns to support the company’s Investment Services and Retirement Plan Services groups. This individual contributor role partners closely with internal clients and senior leaders to deliver proactive, consultative, and elevated marketing support that strengthens brand positioning, drives growth, and enhances client experience. Utilizes a mix of print, direct mail, digital, social media, paid search, and email marketing to support highly regulated financial services offerings.

Essential duties include the following:

  • Develops and implements marketing strategies in support of Investment Services and Retirement Plan Services business goals, aligning with company objectives, industry trends, and budget.
  • Serves as a strategic thought partner to internal clients and leadership, advising on branding, positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for investment, advisory, banking-adjacent, and retirement solutions.
  • Partners proactively with internal clients to help shape and clarify their vision, translating business objectives into integrated marketing plans and campaigns.
  • Owns campaigns end-to-end, including concept development, execution, optimization, and post-campaign analysis across the full customer lifecycle.
  • Writes, edits, and produces content including, but not limited to, thought leadership, blogs, marketing collateral, presentations, email campaigns, digital content, and advertising copy tailored to investment and retirement audiences.
  • Develops and executes inbound and outbound marketing campaigns; evaluates performance and pivots tactics based on results, insights, and ROI.
  • Provides elevated client service by anticipating needs, maintaining clear communication, and delivering marketing solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Brings forward innovative ideas and solutions that enhance client engagement, improve campaign effectiveness, and differentiate the business in competitive financial markets.
  • Collaborates closely with internal stakeholders across marketing, product, sales, compliance, and leadership to ensure timely execution and alignment.
  • Develops campaign metrics, tracks performance, and reports on ROI, effectiveness, and business impact.
  • Stays current on investment, retirement, banking, and employee benefits trends through research, industry publications, and professional development.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field from an accredited four-year college or university, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience developing and executing marketing campaigns, strategies, and content across digital and traditional channels.
  • Experience supporting or marketing within Investments, Investment Advisory, Banking, or Retirement Planning environments.
  • Strong understanding of highly regulated financial services industries and the ability to adapt messaging accordingly.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships with internal clients and comfortably work with and present to C-suite and senior leadership.
  • Proven ability to work as a proactive individual contributor who takes full ownership of campaigns and deliverables.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling marketing messaging.
  • Experience delivering elevated, consultative client service and acting as a trusted marketing advisor.
  • Working knowledge of B2B and B2C marketing best practices, including social media and digital marketing.
  • Proficient in inbound marketing, campaign development, and performance measurement.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proactive, self-directed, and solution-oriented approach to work.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong copywriting, content development, and editing skills with attention to grammar, tone, and compliance.
  • Ability to bring innovative ideas and continuously improve marketing efforts.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
