Job Title: Corporate Recruiter

Reports to: Employee Engagement Manager

Through our development and operations team, DTN seeks to create and deliver unique experiences for those choosing a DTN home or apartment. As the Recruiter, you will influence and guide the experience for those that visit a DTN owned or managed community. Job SummaryThe Recruiter's role is to develop strategic methods of recruiting and support the hiring and onboarding efforts of the company and its multiple offices. A Recruiter is responsible for planning and executing the recruitment process, setting hiring goals, and managing communication with candidates. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must be personable, organized and enjoy networking and maintaining relationships. As a Recruiter, your primary responsibilities include:

  • Full cycle recruiting for full-time, part-time, and temporary positions including sourcing, presenting candidates to hiring managers, scheduling interviews, conducting initial phone screening, drafting offer letters, presenting offers to candidates initiating and reviewing background checks, initiating new hire paperwork and successfully onboarding new hires.
  • Manage Job Requisition Requests and ATS daily, including posting new and closing filled positions, reviewing incoming resumes and applications, and troubleshooting
  • Consults with hiring managers to understand business need and define candidate qualifications
  • Phone screen every candidate for the majority of open positions prior to submitting to the hiring manager with the goal of identifying candidates that will thrive in their role and embrace our Core Values
  • Collaborate with Payroll Department to ensure all required onboarding documentation is completed in a timely manner in accordance to federal guidelines
  • Create and conduct quarterly training courses for hiring managers on interviewing best practices and proper ATS and candidate management
  • Prepare weekly and quarterly reporting to Leadership
  • Partners with outside recruiting firms, when needed, to complete various candidate searches. Proactively works to maintain good relationships with outside recruiting firms and to ensure a pipeline of strategic partnerships for talent acquisition needs. 
  • Source potential candidates through various channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks)
  • Social media management including but not limited to LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, etc.
  • Actively network and maintain professional relationships with industry professionals and candidate
  • Plan and participate in DTN career fairs, local campus career fairs and career center programs
Core Candidate Qualities:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1-3 years’ experience in recruiting preferred
  • PHR/SHRM-CP Certification helpful but not required
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (JazzHR) – preferred but not required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team, self-starter
  • Ability to conduct phone and in person interviews
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality surrounding open positions and candidate information
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Skilled networker
  • Proficient with computers and various software platforms including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience using industry software is preferred
  • Reliable transportation to get to work daily and to conduct daily job responsibilities
