Corporate Security Officer, Armed (Part-Time)

What you get to do:

• Enforce Security and vehicular procedures per company standards

• Maintain a high profile of security presence to deter criminal activity and serve guest and team members

• Be able and willing to assist Law Enforcement when appropriate

• Control access to company property to ensure that the approved access policy is being adhered to; this includes vehicle and bag inspections to prevent contraband and the removal of company assets

• Respond quickly and appropriately to calls for service and work in adverse conditions which include but are not limited to, extreme temperatures, inclement weather, darkness and heights

• Investigate security related incidents; this includes writing reports as needed

• Operate stations, maintain logs, issue keys, check IDs, control vehicle and pedestrian traffic and maintain cleanliness in your area

• Courteously and effectively resolve guest complaints, disagreements and incidents

• Document and disseminate critical information in a timely manner

• Perform other departmental ad hoc duties as instructed by management

What it takes to succeed:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Have or willing to become CPR/AED and First Aid certified

• At least three years of Security or Law Enforcement experience

• Must have a valid driver's license

• Must have and maintain a valid state armed security certification

• Must be able to lift 75 pounds, push/pull 50 pounds and climb to reasonable heights

• Must be able to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
