Atlanta, GA 30309 (Hybrid – Minimum 3 Days Onsite or Client Site) $138,000 – $150,000 per year
Corporate Tax Manager (ASC 740 / Compliance) Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join our Corporate Tax Solutions team in Atlanta, GA. This role focuses on corporate tax compliance, ASC 740 income tax accounting, and client engagement management for large, multi-state and global organizations.
This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of 3 days per week onsite or at client locations .
Corporate Tax Manager (ASC 740 / Compliance) Key Responsibilities
- Manage corporate tax engagements from planning through completion
- Oversee preparation, review, and audit support of corporate tax returns
- Lead ASC 740 income tax provision work (preparation and/or audit support)
- Supervise, train, and mentor associates, seniors, and interns
- Review tax filings and identify tax savings opportunities
- Research and consult on complex corporate tax matters
- Respond to IRS, state, and regulatory tax inquiries
- Maintain and grow strong client relationships at all organizational levels
- Support business development efforts and identify new service opportunities
- Ensure compliance with professional standards and firm policies
Corporate Tax Manager (ASC 740 / Compliance) Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Active CPA licensed in Georgia (or ability to obtain reciprocity) OR active JD/law license
- 4–7 years of progressive tax compliance or tax consulting experience
- Strong experience in corporate tax compliance and ASC 740 accounting
- Public accounting experience required (Top 15 firm preferred)
- Experience supporting large, multi-state or global organizations
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and corporate income tax regulations
- Excellent analytical, communication, and client service skills
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines
Corporate Tax Manager (ASC 740 / Compliance) Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with OneSource Tax Provision (OTP) software
- Prior experience in Big 4 or Top 15 accounting firms
- Experience working with professional services or large corporate clients
- Exposure to state, local, and international tax concepts
- Strong tenure history (no frequent job changes every 1–2 years preferred)

- Hybrid schedule (minimum 3 days onsite or client site)
