Job Description
Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Certified Medication Aideto work at a facility in Lexington, OK. These are registry positions with our company.Pay Rate: $26 / hourShift:
- 12-hour shifts (6a 6p and 6p 6a). For specific days/shifts it would be determined by the nurse manager for each facility.
- Administer medications to patients or residents as directed
- Monitor patients for medication side effects or reactions
- Record medication administration and patient information
- Assist patients with daily living activities
- Measure and record vital signs
- Report patient concerns or changes to nurses
- Maintain medication supplies and storage
- Follow safety and infection control procedures
- Assist with patient comfort and care needs
- Support nurses and healthcare staff
- At least one year (12 months) of previous working experience as a Certified Medication Aide
- Must have up to date certification in the state of OK
- CPR card issued by the American Heart Association
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
