- 10 hour shifts
- Assist dentists during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Prepare treatment rooms, dental instruments, equipment, and materials before procedures.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and maintain proper infection control standards.
- Take and process dental X-rays as permitted by applicable state regulations.
- Prepare patients for treatment and explain procedures to help ensure comfort and understanding.
- Provide chairside assistance, including instrument transfer, suctioning, and preparation of dental materials.
- Record patient medical and dental histories, treatment information, and clinical notes accurately.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and preventive dental practices.
- Monitor and maintain dental supplies, equipment, and inventory.
- Follow OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and facility policies and procedures.
- Assist with scheduling, patient records, and other administrative duties as needed.
- Provide professional, compassionate, and patient-centered support while promoting safety and quality dental care.
- Current, valid, and unrestricted CO license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
- Minimum of 1 year/s of recent experience as a Dental Assistant within the last 3 years.
- Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
- Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test,...)
