Job Description
Health Advocates Network is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work at a facility in Honolulu, Hawaii . This is a registry position with our company.Pay Rate: $32 / hourShifts Available:
- Full-time (4 days a week ok) day shift (0600-1430) and/or evening (1400-2230) shift, with weekend availability
- We need someone to coordinate scheduling medical appointments for out of facility consultants. They will be working closely with security and medical staff.
- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
- Provide companionship and basic care to patients
- Administer prescribed medications to patients
- Minimum one year (12 months) of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- A valid and current LPN license issued by the state of HI.
- A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
- Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients. LPN must be able to communicate effectively in oral and written English.
- First time Licensed Practical Nurse must have 6 months of recent (within the last 3 years) nursing experience gained within a hospital or similar acute care setting
- Correctional experience is preferred but open to reviewing candidates that dont have correctional experience.
