Performs a variety of entry level certified or non-certified duties related to the security, safety, order, operation and maintenance of county jail facilities including detention and monitoring of inmates.Full-Time, with BenefitsCorrections Trainees start at $26.00 per hour, increase to $31.21 per hour once certified (typically within the first 8-12 months of employment)Benefits:Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance$50k term life insurance policy, $50k accident insurance and long-term disability provided by the employer for each employee.County employees accrue 18 days of PTO each year, and PTO can increase based on years of service.
