Cosmetic Medical Assistant / Medical Receptionist (Full-Time)Location: Bethesda, MD (Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri) & Frederick, MD (Wednesdays)Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Position Summary
Capitol Vein & Laser, a partner practice of US Foot & Ankle Specialists, is seeking a personable, charismatic, and team-oriented Cosmetic Medical Assistant and Medical Receptionist to join our growing practice. This role blends front-desk administrative responsibilities with hands-on clinical support in our cosmetic and aesthetics department. The ideal candidate is polished, energetic, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
Weekly Breakdown
2 days/week: Hands-on clinical assisting with cosmetic/aesthetic procedures
3 days/week: Front desk and administrative responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities (2 Days/Week)
Assist providers with:
- Facial injectables (Botox/fillers)
- Sclerotherapy
- Laser treatments
- Microneedling
- Chemical peels
Additional duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms and patients
- Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked procedure rooms
- Provide patient education and post-procedure support
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
Front Desk Responsibilities (3 Days/Week)
- Patient check-in and check-out
- Scheduling appointments and coordinating provider calendars
- Answering phones and responding to patient inquiries
- Processing payments and collecting copays
- Verifying insurance and patient information
- Supporting daily office workflow and documentation
What We’re Looking For
- Medical office experience preferred
- Cosmetic/aesthetic experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional, polished, and patient-focused demeanor
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable and punctual
- EMR/EHR experience preferred
Pay Range:
- $20 - $22/hr based on experience
