Your Role:As a Day Cosmetology Teacher, you will play a crucial role in cultivating the talents of aspiring beauty professionals during daytime classes. Your expertise, combined with a passion for teaching, will inspire and encourage students as they engage with the creativity and technical skills essential for a successful career in cosmetology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create dynamic lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and align with current industry trends.
- Deliver high-quality instruction through a variety of teaching methods including hands-on demonstrations, lectures, and practical exercises.
- Monitor student progress through assessments and provide timely and constructive feedback on performance.
- Promote a positive and productive learning environment that fosters student engagement and collaboration.
- Participate in faculty meetings, workshops, and professional development initiatives to enhance teaching skills and education quality.

Requirements
What We Are Looking For:
- A valid Cosmetology license in the state of Indiana
- A valid Cosmetology Teacher License in the state of Indiana.
- Hands-on experience in the cosmetology field along with a passion for teaching.
- Previous teaching experience is an advantage but not required.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage diverse students effectively.
- Dedication to fostering student success and a positive learning environment.

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $22.00 and $24.00/hr. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
