  • Prepare original equipment (OE) cost estimates for miners, shearers, shuttle cars, and other equipment at the request of the Sales Department for supervisory review.
  • Support cost supervision during U.S. mock and annual recost activities by reviewing, analyzing, and correcting data integrity issues within SAP Costing views.
  • Review and analyze Solon production order variances on a monthly basis to identify root causes and support corrective actions.
  • Partner with the Quality Team to track scrap and rework from work‑in‑process and finished goods, ensuring accurate financial recording.
  • Analyze general ledger and balance sheet accounts and prepare reconciliations to supporting sub‑ledgers for review by Finance supervision.
  • Track Construction in Progress (CIP) projects and capitalize assets in SAP in accordance with policy, while maintaining the fixed asset register.
  • Perform special financial analyses and ad hoc projects to support management decision‑making, strategic initiatives, and continuous accounting and operational process improvements.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Possession of a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Prior experience working with SAP ERP systems is strongly preferred, with the ability to navigate and manage Material Master Costing views and related modules.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities, capable of spotting inconsistencies and implementing corrective actions to maintain data integrity.
  • Effective communication skills that facilitate collaboration across multiple departments and support clear reporting to management.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
