Counseling Associate

This job is for people working toward addictions counselor certification. Send resume by reply email response to this ad. Duties include leading groups for our clients, associated paperwork, light cleaning, and other duties as assigned. Usual work shift for this position is currently Mon-Fri 8am-5pm. Job requirements: Ability to lead exercise and recreation groups. Must be working toward Alcohol and Drug Counselor Certification. Must have completed some of the psychology and/or related classes required for addiction counselor certification. No drug, alcohol, or nicotine use permitted, on or off the job (including no CBD, nicotine patches, vaping, gum, etc.). No exceptions for occasional use. This is a strict requirement; please don't apply if you use any of these substances. In addition, people in recovery must have two years of continuous sobriety. Pacific Ridge Alcohol and Drug Treatment Center is located out in the country, near I-5 exit 244, so reliable personal transportation is required.
