Alchemy Addiction Recovery "Where Transformation Begins" Position: Therapist (LPC / PLPC / LMSW / LCSW / LMFT / LAC) wanted to provide group and individual therapy for people with addiction in adult outpatient offices located in Metairie, LA and Slidell, LA. The ideal person will be trauma-informed, compassionate and caring, energetic, technology savvy. Ability to adapt, shift, and change are essential skills in this role. This person will be responsible for working with a multidisciplinary team of professionals and will be expected to maintain effective working relationships within the community, demonstrate knowledge of the principles of addiction treatment and of treating common co-occurring mental health issues, focus on holistic care of client and aim to increase a client's wellness in all areas of life. Primary Objectives Provide assessments and basic consultation, education, and other support to help clients be successful in their recovery journeys Engage in ongoing assessment of client needs and response to treatment, remaining sensitive to individual differences, which include racial, cultural, psychosocial, economic, age-related and gender variations Promote a company culture that emphasizes collaboration, quality, and commitment to professional development Mission: Are you excited about helping people with addiction? Education Degree in social work, counseling, or related field from an accredited university and previous experience or training in the field of chemical dependency or substance use/addiction treatment Experience One (1) years experience in addiction/substance abuse counseling in a mental health care facility, or a related field, preferred Must have direct experience in group therapies and treatment planning Must have strong clinical assessment skills License LCSW, LMSW, LPC, PLPC, LMFT, LAC, or related license required Must function under the Standards of Practice for Individuals discipline as mandated by the State of Louisiana Must reflect those characteristics and professional standards set forth in the National Association Code of Ethics Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $65,000.00 per year Benefits: Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Vision insurance People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location: In person
