We are seeking a personable, detail oriented Inside Sales / Counter Sales Associate to support walk-in and telephone customers, process orders, and ensure a positive customer experience. This role is critical to daily branch operations and requires strong communication skills, product knowledge, and a customer-first mindset.

Objectives of This Role
- Deliver exceptional customer service to walk-in and phone customers
- Support sales growth through accurate order processing and product knowledge
- Maintain an organized, professional counter and showroom environment
- Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Key Responsibilities
- Assist walk-in and telephone customers with product selection, pricing, and availability
- Receive, enter, and track customer orders through completion and delivery
- Resolve order challenges, process returns, and provide shipment status updates
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked showroom and counter area
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of Fishman product offerings
- Support branch operations as needed, including coordination with warehouse staff
- Always Represent Fishman Flooring Solutions professionally
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Basic computer proficiency
- Dependable, accountable, and team-oriented work ethic
- Willingness to learn products, systems, and processes
- Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications
- Flooring industry experience preferred (products, installation techniques, best practices)
- Inside sales or counter sales experience in a B2B environment
- Experience working with order entry systems or ERP platforms
- Bi-lingual skills (Spanish/English) strongly preferred
