Let's build something great - together.JOB SUMMARY:The Counter Sales and Service Associate will be responsible for helping our HVAC/R customers find the parts and equipment they need with prompt, friendly and professional service. A candidate for this position must possess the ability, and desire, to learn industry products and services to effectively engage customers in conversation to understand their needs and confidently offer reliable solutions. This position requires an individual that works well in a team environment to build positive relationships with repeat customers.Pay: $20-22/hour + Commissions Key Responsibilities:Sales Counter / Customer Service:Greet and assist walk-in and call-in customers in a professional, courteous manner.Generate new and repeat sales by providing accurate product and technical information.Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities and enhance customer satisfaction.Process customer transactions including orders, quotes, returns, and special requests through POS or ERP system.Communicate availability, pricing, promotions, and delivery status with customers.Work with contractors, technicians, and internal team members to fulfill product needs.Qualifications:Excellent customer service and phone communication skills
Experience in HVAC, plumbing, or building products is preferred, but will train the right person
High school diploma or equivalent required
Computer Proficiency, including RF scanners and warehouse coding systems
Must be able to frequently lift over 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
