Counter Sales-Entry Level

Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated, detail oriented, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a counter sales associate. This role is ideal for someone with an interest in HVAC or plumbing products, strong communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

In this position, you will be a key point of contact for customers-answering inquiries, recommending products, processing transactions, and ensuring a clean, organized work environment. Additional responsibilities include assisting with inventory management, stocking shelves, coordinating material transfers between branches and vendors, and maintaining accurate computer records.

The right candidate will enjoy problem-solving, working in a team-oriented environment, and contributing to the overall success of the sales department.

Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent required- Prior customer service, retail, or sales experience strongly preferred.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Computer proficiency required: HVAC or plumbing knowledge is a plus (not required)Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with product inquiries and purchases.- Recommend products tailored to customers’ needs and preferences.- Accurately process sales transactions and maintain computer records.- Keep the work environment clean, organized, and safe.- Stay informed on products features, pricing, and availability.- Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and service targets.- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and monitor industry trends.Additional Requirements:- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills..- Willingness to learn and adapt to changes in product offerings.- Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed.
