- Provides advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their needs.
- Processing orders via order management system.
- Prepare and stage orders for customer pick up.
- Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards as advised.
- Ensure that merchandise is restocked and placed in their respective areas.
- Maintain a safe working environment including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.
- 2 or more years' experience in fire protection/ fire sprinkler industry is required.
- Basic knowledge of fire protection/ fire sprinkler products preferred.
- Prior warehouse experience preferred.
- Prior forklift/ Moffett experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- General computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required.
- Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise from warehouse to customer's vehicles.
- General math skills to allow for cash accounting.
- An ability to learn is a must have!
- Excellent decision making and communication skills.
