This position is responsible for welding couplings to various materials while ensuring every weld meets company quality, strength, and production standards.The ideal candidate has previous welding experience, can accurately read blueprints and measuring tools, and takes pride in producing precise, high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Required Experience & Skills Previous welding experience required (coupling welding experience preferred) Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and welding specifications Ability to accurately use tape measures and other measuring tools Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Commitment to workplace safety and quality standardsEssential Duties & Responsibilities Perform welding operations on couplings using approved welding techniques and procedures Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production instructions Inspect completed welds for quality, dimensional accuracy, and structural integrity Maintain welding equipment, tools, and workstations in proper operating condition Follow all company safety procedures, welding standards, and production requirements Meet daily production schedules while maintaining high-quality workmanship Report equipment issues, material defects, or quality concerns to supervisors Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Perform additional welding and fabrication duties as assignedPreferred Qualifications Previous coupling welding or pipe fabrication experience Experience working in industrial manufacturing or fabrication environments Knowledge of welding symbols and fabrication drawings Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsPhysical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and repetitive physical activity throughout the shift Ability to safely operate welding equipment while wearing required PPE Comfortable working around heat, sparks, welding fumes, industrial machinery, and manufacturing equipmentWork Environment Industrial manufacturing and fabrication facility Exposure to welding equipment, heat, sparks, fumes, noise, and heavy materials Fast-paced production environment focused on quality, safety, and efficiency Safety-first workplace requiring PPE at all timesWhy You'll Want This Opportunity Competitive starting pay of $24.00/hour Unique Tuesday Friday work schedule with three-day weekends every week Long-term temp-to-hire opportunity Weekly pay Opportunity to work with an experienced fabrication team in a growing manufacturing environment Excellent career growth potential for skilled weldersReady to Apply?Apply today for immediate consideration or call/text 918-582-0522 for more information.You can also apply in person at:Stand-By Personnel1531 E. 2nd St.Tulsa, OK 74120Monday Friday | 8 AM 4 PM
