CPA, Senior Staff Accountant

Established CPA Firm looking for an accountant with a minimum of 3 year’s public accounting experience, who is a CPA candidate or CPA certified.

Primary responsibilities will be to prepare financial statements and supporting schedules, assist with financial and tax audits, assist with preparing tax returns and corporate reporting requirements, and other projects as assigned.

Senior Staff Accountant responsibilities include:

Preparing and reviewing business and individual tax returnspreparing and reviewing financial statements and workpaperstax planning for closely held businesses and their ownerssupervising and mentoring staff.

Senior Staff Accountant skills should be:

Bachelor’s Degree in AccountingCPA License preferred3+ years of recent, public accounting experienceStrong communication skillsStrong technical skillsThe ability to manage multiple client projects with deadlinesStrong leadership qualitiesStrong entrepreneurial aspirationsProficiency in Microsoft Office computer programs; QuickBooks, or other accounting software, a plus
