Overview

The Robotics Factory (part of Innovation Works) is at the forefront of innovation in the robotics and automation entrepreneurial space, committed to growing and mentoring the world’s next generation of leading robotics companies. We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven Program Manager to lead the planning and execution of CREATE - a high-impact industry program focused on creating new robotic products, services, and companies. It does this by pairing industry experts in a broad range of high-growth verticals with leading robotics companies and entrepreneurs to develop new commercial solutions for significant industry problems.  This is a grant-funded position.

Position Overview

As the CREATE Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating a dynamic and influential multi-year project that brings together industry experts, robotics pioneers, and entrepreneurs. This position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to coordinate diverse stakeholders to ensure the success of our technical program.

Key Responsibilities

Program Development

• Work with an experienced team to develop and execute a program strategy that incorporates best practices for commercial innovation.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders in IW, the target industry sectors, and the robotics community to coordinate the Create program. It will also include events, including panel discussions, workshops, reverse pitches, and networking opportunities.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Build and maintain relationships with industry experts, robotics professionals, and entrepreneurs to ensure their active participation in the program.
• Work closely with partners and sponsors to integrate their contributions seamlessly into the program.
• Develop strategies and processes for ongoing stakeholder engagement for each target industry following market-focused summits.
• Partner closely with the Innovation Works and PRN event teams to coordinate venue selection, catering, audio-visual requirements, and other operational aspects of events. 

Timeline and Milestone Management

• Create and manage a detailed project plan outlining all program-related tasks, deadlines, and milestones.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of program elements.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to curate compelling and relevant content for technical sessions and workshops.
• Oversee the development of presentation materials, ensuring high-quality and engaging content.

Logistics and Operations

• Partner closely with the PRN event team to coordinate venue selection, catering, audio-visual requirements, and other operational aspects.
• Ensure seamless execution of the overall program on an ongoing basis.
• Evaluation and Improvement
• Implement mechanisms for gathering feedback from participants during and after the event.
• Analyze feedback to identify areas of direct program impact, areas for improvement, and implement changes for future programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or PMP certification preferred.
• Product Management, Innovation Management, or NPDP certification is preferred.
• Proven experience (10+ years) in program management, preferably in technical or industry-focused events.
• Experience in working in technical organizations, particularly in the field of robotics and automation.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
