Job Description
Credit Analyst
Our client is hiring a full-time Credit Analyst in Carmel, IN, to support the lending and credit team in the management of a portfolio of real estate projects, including land development and apartment community developments. This role involves analyzing financial data, assessing loan risk, and providing recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in facilitating and initiating the credit granting function on new and existing customers to achieve company performance objectives and goals.
- Review applications, evaluate credit and financial data, analyze risk factors, and other relevant documents to determine eligibility for loans.
- Perform extensive investigation and analysis of credit and/or financial information, working within established guidelines.
- Provide credit analysis feedback and recommendations to the lending team.
- Support Credit Management with daily, weekly, and/or monthly administrative functions.
- Collaborate with other functional areas to maintain productivity and ensure department and company objectives are met.
- Assist with the initiation of cash disbursements.
- Assist with file management, ensuring all loan files are complete and in compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all loan applications.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in finance, accounting, or related field required.
- 1 to 3 years of experience preferred, not required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to take initiative and demonstrate strong time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
