Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and implementing underwriting policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate and analyze credit applications to determine risk and approve or decline applications accordingly.
  • Communicate with Funding Associate, Credit Analysts and Dealer Partners to resolve issues and obtain additional information when necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Underwriting Manager to set up the business and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and Loan Origination Systems (LOS) to process and manage loan applications.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all underwriting decisions and documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve departmental goals.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to dealers and customers regarding financing options.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, associate degree or equivalent in Finance, Business, or related field Previous experience in underwriting is mandatory
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience is recommended.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Remain current on lending regulations and guidelines
  • Familiarity with Loan Origination Systems (LOS).
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Research and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Act as a resource for dealer and staff questions regarding the KMRF's loan programs
  • Working knowledge of financial services regulations together with all internal policies and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of various loan structures, payment schedules, amortizations, interest rates
  • Prepare monthly production reports and provide information to manager
  • Basic understanding of financial information and lending regulations.
  • Ability to work 100% on-site at our Dallas, TX office.

Profile Differentiators:

  • Experience in founding, co-founding or working in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Experience in Powersports Finance Industry (motorcycle, ATVs UTVs, PWCs)
  • Experience in a FinTech startup.
  • Advanced Professional degree
